Tuition Refund

Formal applications for a refund must be addressed to the office of the Registrar by students who withdraw from a course after registration. The date on which the application is filled is considered to be the official date of withdrawal from a course. Refunds take approximately four weeks to be processed. The following rate schedule applies for withdrawals from a course or courses during the semester:

Withdrawal during the first week of classes 100% refund
Withdrawal during the second week of classes 80% refund
Withdrawal during the third week of classes 60% refund
Withdrawal during the fourth week of classes 30% refund
Withdrawal after the fourth week of classes no refund

Students are entitled to a full refund for courses in which they have registered but which are subsequently cancelled by MIC. Students who fail to pay their tuition and other fees will have their registration cancelled by MIC, while those with outstanding debts may not register for another semester until the debts are cleared.
