Leave of Absence 

A leave is granted for one or two semesters at the discretion of the Academic Dean. A student who remains absent past the date of expected return must apply for re-admission to MIC. A Leave of Absence may be requested through the Office of the Registrar.  An extension of the leave for one or two more semesters may be granted only under exceptional and compelling circumstances. If a student wishes to withdraw for a semester or two, but wishes to maintain his/her status as a matriculating student, he/she must get the approval of the Academic Dean. Maintenance of matriculation can be honored for one academic year and students who have followed the correct procedure do not need to apply for re-admission when they enrol again. Students who do not maintain matriculation or are absent for one or more semesters must apply for re-admission.
