Academic Standing
Students in good academic standing are those whose Cumulative Index (CI) is and remains above 2.00. A student whose CI falls below 2.00 is in poor academic standing and is placed on academic probation. A student is allowed to be on academic probation for two semesters only. If the student cannot raise his/her CI above 2.00 by the end of the third semester, s/he will not be allowed to re-register at MIC as s/he has failed to fulfill his/her academic obligations. A student on academic probation must consult with the Academic Dean at the beginning of and half-way through the semester. Similarly, a student who fails the same course twice may not be allowed to re-register for any other courses until that course is passed.
