Academic Honesty
Academic honesty is fundamental to the integrity of the MIC community. In any educational institution, it is the student who bears the responsibility for his/her work and performance. Anyone denying this responsibility should not be involved in the process of higher education. A student who willfully gives or receives aid in an examination or plagiarizes, i.e. copies from other students’ work or submits work copied from books claiming to be his/her own intellectual product, is subject to severe disciplinary action. A first offence, automatically leads to a Fail (F) in the course, and will be recorded in the student’s file. A second offence leads to dismissal from Minoan International College without any refund of tuition or other fees.
